Activision has 10 projects underway

Activision would be preparing up to ten new games at the moment that would add to foreseeable sequels of Call of Duty or Blizzard licenses. The rumor comes from TheGamingRevolution , considered a reliable source on CoD / Activision issues, who cites some surprises, such as titles unrelated to CoD in charge of a study that usually works in the saga, as well as a license from an external study that would come to occupy the gap left by Bungie and her Destiny - now detached from Activision.

"Out of respect for the hard work of Activision and my friends in other studies, I will keep the names of the projects secret. But in total all the studies work on 10 different projects." Three of them are Call of Duty - excluding Modern Warfare, which goes on sale tomorrow. The other seven do not belong to CoD. " Call of Duty developers are branching out beyond the saga," and there is also "a new third party game to fill the Destiny slot ."

Activision has had good results in recent years with projects far from Call of Duty, for example with the Crash Bandicoot remakes - including Crash Team Racing - and Spyro the Dragon, so the original sequels of these characters seem guaranteed. Also the collaboration with FromSoftware can be described as successful, since Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice touched the 4 million copies at the end of June.

As for Blizzard, the Diablo IV and Diablo 2 Remastered ads seem imminent , which would be confirmed during BlizzCon 2019 later this week. An official art book already mentions the new one to the new Devil.
